Microsoft Teams Integration
Connect Vyre IDE to your Microsoft Teams workspace. Get real-time notifications about running cloud agents, approve critical actions directly from Teams channels, and invite team members to collaborate on active sessions.
Setup Instructions
Add Vyre App to Microsoft Teams
Open Microsoft Teams, go to the Apps Store, search for Vyre Agent, and click Add.
Authenticate Team Account
Go to the Vyre web console at Settings → Integrations → Microsoft Teams and click "Link Teams Organization." Sign in using your Microsoft 365 Administrator account.
Select Target Channels
Choose which MS Teams channels should receive agent session notifications, pull request review summaries, and approval cards.
Key Features
Real-Time Alerts
Receive instant channel messages when cloud agents finish, fail, or create code modifications.
Interactive Approvals
Approve high-risk actions (database migrations, CLI script runs) directly in Teams using Adaptive Cards.
Session Linking
Share links to agent runs with colleagues. They can inspect transcripts and review diffs easily.
Teams Bot Commands
Trigger simple repository security audits or agent runs using @Vyre commands directly in chat.
Data Security
Microsoft Teams communications are fully encrypted. Vyre respects Microsoft 365 tenant permission models:
- Scope limitation: Vyre only reads messages in channels where the bot has been explicitly mentioned.
- Tenant data privacy: None of your MS Teams chat messages are stored, and they are never used to train machine learning models.
Teams integration is available on Business and Enterprise plans. Setup requires Microsoft 365 Tenant Admin permissions.
Customizing Adaptive Cards
Configure which details appear in Teams notification cards (e.g., commit details, test failures) in your .vyre/teams.yaml configuration file.
Multi-tenant Setup
If your enterprise uses separate Microsoft 365 tenants for staging and production environments, Vyre supports linking multiple tenants to a single Vyre organization.
