JetBrains Integration
Use Vyre's autonomous agent, rules, and cloud execution tools directly inside your favorite JetBrains IDEs. Learn how to configure the Vyre JetBrains plugin.
Setup Instructions
Open IDE Settings
In your JetBrains IDE (WebStorm, IntelliJ, PyCharm, etc.), go to Preferences (or Settings) → Plugins.
Install Vyre Plugin
Search the JetBrains Marketplace for Vyre and click Install. Restart the IDE.
Link Account
Click the Vyre icon on the right sidebar tool window. Enter your Vyre API Key or click "Sign In" to complete authorization in the browser.

Supported IDEs
The Vyre plugin is compatible with JetBrains versions 2023.2 and newer for the following products:
- WebStorm (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript)
- IntelliJ IDEA (Ultimate and Community) (Java, Kotlin, Scala)
- PyCharm (Professional and Community) (Python, Django)
- GoLand (Go / Golang)
- CLion (C, C++, Rust)
- Rider (.NET, C#, Unity)
Local agent runs in JetBrains IDEs use the vyred background daemon. Ensure the Vyre CLI is installed on your machine so the plugin can connect automatically.
Vyre Daemon Port Conflicts
If you have port conflicts with the local daemon, configure a custom port in your JetBrains settings under Settings → Tools → Vyre → Daemon Port.
Syncing Keybindings
The plugin maps Vyre Agent prompts to default JetBrains shortcut combinations (Ctrl+Shift+I on Windows/Linux, Cmd+Shift+I on macOS). Customize these inside the IDE Keymap settings.
